What is the Alumni General Council?
The Council represents the views of UWC alumni and advises the University’s Alumni and Supporter Relations team on how to best engage with the global alumni network .
Established in 2007 the Alumni General Council is chaired by Karl Daer. Three working groups and a Steering Committee support the General Council. The Communications Working Group specifically advises on alumni, supporter and donor communications. The Networks Working Group offers guidance on the network of volunteer-led Alumni Groups. The Volunteers Working Group offers guidance to Development and Alumni Relations on developing an appropriate strategy for defining, managing, tracking and communicating to volunteers across Collegiate UWC.
