
GUIDELINES FOR PAYMENT OF FEES
In line with University policy, all tuition and fees must be paid through the E-Tranzact platform at any branch of the following banks:

IMPORTANT NOTES ON FEES

All fees must be paid through the E-Tranzact platform at the designated four banks.

Direct Entry (DE) students are to continue paying the same fee as when admitted.

Fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable after payment.
-
Comerica Bank Hostel is reserved for female students in 200 Level and above.
-
Forging an E-Tranzact slip will attract a fine of N50,000.
The University offers three official payment options for tuition and related fees. Please read the following instructions carefully and choose the method that best suits your circumstances.
PAYMENT OPTIONS :-
Option 1: Pay Directly at the Bank Using Your Unique Number

You may visit any authorized bank branch and provide the bank teller with your Unique Number
-
For new students: The Unique Number is your Admission Number (found below your name on the admission letter).

For returning students: The Unique Number is your Matriculation Number.

Note:Some tellers may ask for your Application Number, but your Admission Number takes precedence and should always be used for payments.

Once verified, the teller will process your payment.
Option 2: Pay Directly Online Using Your a Bank Account, Credit Card, or Zelle

You may pay online using:

A bank account

A credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, or Discover)

Zelle (available for U.S. bank account holders only).

Option 3: International Bank Transfer (Outside the United States)
This method is available only through authorized representatives who hold bank accounts in the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom to:

Avoid high fees and complications related to international direct transfers

Reduce transfer delays and processing time
-
Prevent potential rejection or loss of funds during transit through intermediary banks

International transfers should only be made after official admission is granted, using your Admission Number as the payment reference.

Payments made outside of the university’s approved channels or platforms will not be recognized
-
A 5% credit card handling fee will be applied to all credit/debit card payments (local or international)

All payments are subject to a 10.25% California state tax, which is automatically added to the total amount due.
- For international online payments, an additional 5% intermediary bank commission must be added to cover intermediary bank deductions and ensure the full payment reaches the University.
- The payments on this site are only accepted using credit or debit cards issued in the United States, to ensure compatibility with our local payment systems.
- In accordance with international sanctions regulations, UWC is currently unable to accept payments originating from the following countries: Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, South Sudan, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, and Saudi Arabia.
